Alex Kandel is a litigator specializing in business, real estate, and IP litigation.  He handles a broad range of matters including breach of contracts, business torts, mass torts, partnership disputes, intellectual property disputes, and real estate disputes.  Alex is experienced in handling cases for plaintiffs and defendants in various states of litigation, including trials.

Experience

Prior to joining Novian & Novian, Alex was a litigation associate at Quinn Emanuel Urqhuart & Sullivan LLP and Miller Barondess LLP.  He received his J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was the senior executive editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal.  During law school, Alex interned at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, the San Mateo County Counsel, and the East Bay Community Law Center.  He received his B.S. in biology with a minor in Russian from UCLA.
