Cody is a litigator whose practice focuses on healthcare disputes, real estate litigation, and complex commercial matters. He represents clients across all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts, including class action and representative proceedings. Cody takes a strategic, tactical approach to each matter, tailoring his litigation strategy to the specific needs of the case and the client’s objectives. Clients value him for his tenacious advocacy, his ability to articulate complex issues clearly (both orally and in writing), and his results in court — including obtaining dismissals at the pleading stage and successfully moving for and opposing summary judgment motions.

Cody’s healthcare litigation practice encompasses reimbursement claims against commercial health insurers, coverage disputes, and enforcement of statutory payment obligations under federal healthcare legislation, including the CARES Act and FFCRA. He has particular experience in large-scale, multi-party reimbursement disputes involving overlapping federal and state regulatory frameworks.

Cody also brings deep experience in complex real estate litigation, including partnership disputes spanning multi-asset portfolios. He represents clients in high-stakes disputes involving ownership interests, asset management, and the full range of claims that arise in sophisticated real estate transactions and relationships.

In addition to his healthcare and real estate practices, Cody represents clients in a wide variety of business litigation involving contracts, fraud, and other commercial claims.
