About Novian & Novian, LLP
A Los Angeles firm that has been doing this since 1988
We are a full-service law firm in Century City. Our attorneys handle business disputes, injury claims and the day-to-day legal work that companies and families in California need done properly.
Who we are
Novian & Novian opened in Los Angeles in 1988 and has been serving clients across the country ever since. The firm is led by managing partner Farhad Novian, and today nineteen attorneys practice here.
We are full-service by design. A company that comes to us over a contract dispute often stays for the employment question that follows, the lease, the trademark, the acquisition. Clients tell us the value is in not having to explain their business twice.
That breadth also means an injured person and a healthcare group can both be represented properly under the same roof. The work looks different; the standard behind it does not.
Our operating principle has not moved in more than thirty-five years: what the client needs comes first. We would rather tell you early that a case is difficult than take it on and disappoint you later.
How we work
Three things clients notice about us, and they are the three we work hardest to keep true.
We tell you where you stand
You get our honest read of the matter at the start, including the parts that are not in your favor. A plan built on an optimistic story tends to fail at the worst moment.
The attorney you meet is the attorney who works the file
Matters are not handed down the corridor once the engagement is signed. The person who took your first call stays with the case.
We prepare as though it is going to trial
Most disputes settle. The ones that settle well are the ones the other side can see were being prepared properly from the beginning.
What we handle
Eleven practice groups, one firm. If your matter crosses two of them, that is normal here.
